Bread Machine Recipes

Bake Bread at the Touch of a Button!!
Even the best store bought load cant compare with fresh homemade bread.  But who has time to bake it from scratch?  You do!!!
Bread machines acrually make it more conveinent to bake bread at home than pick it up at the supermarket.  It only takes minutes to put your ingredients in the pan, flick a few switches and settings, then forget about it your bread until the aroma fills the kitchen!
For the Best Bread.......

  • Bread machines vary somewhat depending on the manufacturer.  It will be easier for you to use your machine if you first become familiar with it.  Before trying new recipes, make a variety of those provided in your manual--they were developed specificially for your machine.
  • Be sure to stay within the limits of the maximum flour amounts listed in the recipes in your manual.
  • Add the ingredients only in the order recommended by the manufacturer. (which isn't always how they may appear in a recipe here).
  • Your bread machine does the mixing and kneading for you.  Because of that, you must learn to judge the bread with your eyes and ears to decide whether a recipe is right for your maching or needs adjusting.

Measuring Up

To assure the best results from bread machines, always measure accurately.

  • Measure water by pouring into a transparent liquid measuring cup.  Read the measurement at eye level.
  • Measure flour by spooning it into a standard dry measuring cup.  Level with a straight edge knife.
  • Measure yeast, salt or spices by filling a standard measuring spoon, overflowing , level with a straight edge knife
